Buddy Hield had a great individual performance in a loss at Texas over the weekend in a game that saw Oklahoma allow a huge run in the second half that cost them the game. For the second straight game Hield started hot and then cooled off after halftime as the Sooners gave away a lead. This time they got it back and a bucket from Hield, who did finish with a game-high 23 points, in the final minute helped give Oklahoma a 73-71 on Senior Night.
The whole Oklahoma team came out hot early, shooting well from behind the arc (9-of-18 from 3 in the first half) and jumping out to a 26-point lead at one point and a 46-25 advantage at halftime.
