Alton Robinson, Texas A&M Recruit, Arrested for Robbery: Details, Comments

Texas A&M defensive end recruit Alton Robinson was arrested by police in Bexer County on Tuesday.

According to David Ibanez of KSAT in San Antonio, officers from the Bexar County Sheriff's Department picked Robinson up at school and charged him with robbery stemming from an alleged incident with his ex-girlfriend.

Bexar County Sheriff's Office spokesman James Keith told Ibanez that Robinson's ex-girlfriend filed a criminal complaint after she "told the investigator that on Feb. 9, she came home from a store around 11:15 p.m. and found Robinson hiding in some bushes near her driveway."

Robinson's ex-girlfriend claims he "ripped her purse" from her shoulder as she tried to enter her house and ran off with it.
