Alabama's Cam Robinson charged with possession of stolen firearm

Alabama offensive lineman Cam Robinson and defensive back Laurence “Hootie" Jones were arrested in their hometown of West Monroe, La., early Tuesday morning and booked into the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center, according to the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s office.

Both were charged with misdemeanor drug possession and carrying a weapon in the presence of narcotics, but Robinson — an All-SEC left tackle and potential first-round NFL Draft pick next year — was also charged with a felony for illegal possession of a stolen firearm.
