Jalyn Armour-Davis thrived as a shutdown cornerback at St. Paul's Episcopal School in Mobile, Alabama, and he announced Friday that he'll continue his football career at Alabama.
Per Ben Thomas of AL.com, Armour-Davis pledged to play for the Crimson Tide starting next season.
"He committed to the premier program in the country," his high school head coach, Steve Mask, told Thomas. "They are who they are. We are excited for him and the opportunity he has in front of him."
According to Scout.com, Armour-Davis grades out as the 86th-ranked player overall and the 11th-ranked cornerback among all 2018 recruits.
