Is it too early talking 2019 NFL Draft Prospects? For some sure but for the die-hards that follow @ChatSports, I don't think it ever too early. With the 2018 NFL Draft a few months away and the college football season coming to an end, it's time to start prepping for the 2019 NFL Draft. These are simply projections and a lot can change from now until next year but here are my top five 2019 NFL Draft Selections.

1.) Sam Darnold - QB, USC
The 2018 Draft class is deep at the quarterback position and many scouts think Darnold needs another year of college football. With another year at USC, Darnold would be hard to pass as the top quarterback in the 2019 Draft. Coming into the year he was the favorite quarterback but after some turnover struggles, he has started slipping down draft boards.
2.) Dexter Lawrence - DT, Clemson Tigers
Lawrence is a big boy who is extremely athletic for his 6'5" 340 pounds build. He is the best defensive tackle that will declare for the 2019 NFL Draft. He can not only stuff the run, he is also very talented at getting after the quarterback. Lawernce has been a dominated force for the Tigers defensive line since joining the team in 2016.
3.) Ed Oliver - DT, Houston Cougars
Houston's Ed Oliver may have the highest upside of all defensive players in this draft. As a freshman, he recorded 22.5 tackles for loss and has been the anchor of Houston's defense. His length and size combined with his raw athletic ability is a reason why he will be selected in the top five of the 2019 NFL Draft.

4.) Nick Bosa - DE, Ohio State
Bloodlines matter to NFL teams and Bosa has a great bloodline. His older brother Joey Bosa is arguably the best young defensive lineman in the NFL and Nick is showing a lot of the same characteristics. Bosa has the motor and willingness to never quit but also has the quickness and speed to really be a dominant pass rusher at the next level.
5.) Trey Adams OT - Washington Huskies
The best offensive lineman in this draft is Trey Adams which is why he will be a top-five pick. Offensive line play has plagued many teams in the NFL this season and when star quarterbacks get injured those teams go out and look for guys to protect them. Adams would have been selected high in the 2018 NFL Draft but he tore his ACL and will be returning to Washington in 2018.
