The Georgia Bulldogs and ULM Warhawks teams both high expectations for the year and want to get their seasons off to a strong start with a victory. Here's what to expect this weekend:
Georgia Outlook
Georgia's offense will be centered around Heisman candidate running back Nick Chubb, who ran for 1,541 yards and 14 touchdowns last year while serving as Todd Gurley's backup. The passing game will likely be a struggle with a major question mark at quarterback, but with seven returning starters on defense, they still expect to compete for the College Football Playoff.
Louisiana-Monroe Outlook
ULM is looking to rebound from last year's disappointing 4-8 season, but it doesn't look like they have the overall talent to make a big leap up the Sun Belt standings. The defense does return nine starters and should be better, but the offense ranked 115th in the country in points per game last year.
What to watch for: Nick Chubb vs. ULM's defense
The key to stopping Georgia's offense is stopping Chubb, which is much easier said than done. The only way ULM has a chance in this one is if they can keep Chubb under 100 yards - which will be extremely difficult for them to do.
Prediction: Georgia wins 37-13
The talent gap between these two teams is just too much for it to be any semblence of a game. Chubb will carry the Bulldogs to an easy victory in this one.
