Check out the latest preseason Top 25 College Football Rankings with a breakdown of each ranking by conference on College Football Daily!
Our hosts Tom Downey and Jordan Giorgio start off at #25 with South Carolina who will be bringing back WR Deebo Samuel and CB Jamyest Williams, but the key to the Gamecocks success will be QB Jake Bentley, and if he can perform at the next level. At #21 are the Florida State Seminoles, who are under new head coach Willie Taggart. The Seminoles lose key pieces like S Derwin James, WR Auden Tate, TE Ryan Izzo, but the good news is QB DeAndre Francois is back. In our next group of five, we have LSU coming in at #17 who will have a tough task ahead of them on offense after losing six underclassmen to the NFL Draft.

James Franklin's Nittany Lions claim #11 with 3rd year QB starter Trace McSorley, but will he be able to excel without RB Saquon Barkley? Our top ten features the Stanford Cardinal at #9 with the focal point of the offense, RB Bryce Love, back for another year.
Our top 5 consists of Oklahoma, Georgia, Ohio State, Clemson and Alabama snagging the #1 spot after bringing in the 7th overall class, but who will win the QB battle between Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa?
