Five of the top 10 teams in the AP Top 25 had bye weeks this weekend, but we still had a plethora of exciting action around the country.
#8 Stanford and #9 Notre Dame escaped with narrow victories over Washington State and #21 Temple, respectively, while #3 Clemson, #5 TCU, and #10 Iowa won their matchups handily. Temple and #22 Duke were the only ranked teams that lost on Saturday, but there were still plenty of risers and fallers in the newly released poll.
However, nothing has changed at the top of the poll with Ohio State, Baylor, Clemson, and LSU making up the top four ahead of the College Football Playoff Committee's first rankings, which will be released on Tuesday.
