Three weeks of college football are in the books, and two teams have clearly separated from the pack and are far and away the top two teams when predicting the the 2014 BCS Championship.
One contender fell to another last week, with Texas A&M falling to Alabama. Ohio Stae seems to be slipping right now, mostly due to uninspiring games against mediocre opponents.
Last week's matchup prediction:
BCS Championship Game Prediction headed into week 4:
Why Alabama?
They faced what might be their toughest game of the year on the road, and looked great doing so in beating formerly #6 Texas A&M. Alghough they gave up 42 points, Alabama showed why they are the nation's best team by going into College Station and shutting down the Aggies, the only team to beat them last season.
Best chance for a loss: November 9 vs. LSU
Why Oregon?
The Ducks have been nothing short of dominant, winning 3 games by an average score of 61-9. They face Cal this weekend and will likely drop 70 on the hapless Cal D.
Best chance for a loss: November 7th @ Stanford
Next best teams:
3. Stanford
4. Clemson
5. Ohio State
