The 10/19 AP poll has just been released, and things are about as you would expect at the top.
As with today's Coaches' poll, the SEC holds 5 of the top 10 slots, and three of the top 4. Alabama slides into the coveted #4 slot after annihilating Texas A&M on Saturday, likely raising a few eyebrows in places like Eugene and Athens.
Also of note, #4 Baylor fell all the way to #12 after Saturday's loss to West Virginia while the Mountaineers vaulted all the way back into the rankings at #22.
The team with a bone to pick? Michigan State. They are #5 in this week's Coaches' poll, but stand at just #8 in this week's Associated Press poll.
