The NBA is an international league, and we’re all better for it
This season the NBA announced that for the second consecutive year that there were at least 100 international players on opening night rosters. This is also the second consecutive year that all 30 teams feature at least one international player.
These players come from 37 different countries or territories from around the world.
Think about that — 37 different countries are represented within the league. Canada has the most representatives with 12, followed by France (10), Australia (8), then Croatia and Spain with 4 each.
