The NBA’s Most Improved Player is consistently one of the most fiercely debated award races in the league. Even when an obvious candidate like C.J. McCollum blossomed in his first opportunity as a starter last season, there are always solid cases to be made for others as well. Stephen Curry, for example, improved his scoring average by more than six points last season, making the decision even more perplexing for voters.
