Who were the league’s best injured players this season? Find out.
In a piece that was published last week examining the NBA All-Rookie teams, I presented a few facetious ideas, wondering why the NBA doesn’t have more All-[insert category here] teams, such as an All-Sophomore team or an All-Geriatric team. Another of the teams I imagined was an All-Injury team, comprised of the best players whose otherwise successful seasons suffered due to injury.
Even as I wrote it jokingly, I envisioned myself taking the topic seriously. Since then I have pondered and mused and researched the matter enough to write competently on the subject now.
