Broken jump shot or not, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is quietly having a Rookie of the Year-caliber season.
On March 25, the 20-51 Brooklyn Nets put on a show in front of their home crowd at the Barclay’s Center, surprisingly upsetting the 50-21 Cleveland Caveliers 104-95. While I wrote just last week about how ugly the Nets’ future looks, they have managed to find one gem in rookie wing Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.
Playing for the second time in 50 games due to a broken ankle he suffered early in the season, Hollis-Jefferson put up a strong performance against the Cavs with 10 points and seven rebounds in only 17 minutes.
