Look at the offseason rankings. The Utah Jazz are near the bottom of almost all of them. They decided to go for a more conservative approach, re-signing some bench players, bringing over some international players, and banking on development. Many have claimed this wasn’t enough for an improving Jazz team to take the leap necessary to make the playoffs and that they made no big offseason acquisitions. Dennis Lindsey, general manager of the Utah Jazz, disagrees.
