Spurs retire Tim Duncan’s jersey after Sunday’s game

The Spurs retired Tim Duncan’s No. 21 following their game against the Pelicans on Sunday

Duncan, who announced his retirement over the summer after 19 seasons, took center court along with many of his family, former teammates—including David Robinson, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker—and coach Gregg Popovich in a touching ceremony. Fans at the game received special Tim Duncan t-shirts, and some Spurs wore No. 21 on their socks.

Popovich, Ginobili and Parker all spoke before Duncan eventually took the microphone and thanked everyone in attendance.
