Memphis Grizzlies forward Chandler Parsons could miss up to two weeks due to a bone bruise in his left knee, league sources told ESPN.
That is not the knee that Parsons has had twice surgically repaired.
The sources say that Parsons has no structural damage with the left knee. He will miss his second consecutive game Monday night against the Charlotte Hornets, the team announced.
The Grizzlies signed Parsons to a four-year, $94 million maximum contract this summer despite his previous two seasons with the Dallas Mavericks ended prematurely due to operations on his right knee.
