Houston Rockets guard Ty Lawson will be suspended two games by the NBA for his two arrests on drunken driving charges, according to a source.
The suspension will start Saturday when the Rockets host the Los Angeles Clippers. Lawson will also miss Monday's home game against the Charlotte Hornets.
Court records show the former Denver Nuggets guard was charged with drunken driving, speeding and other offenses in January. He pleaded guilty in November to driving while ability impaired and a lane violation. He faces up to 180 days in jail when he is sentenced Jan.
