LOS ANGELES -- Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons will make his season debut here Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers exactly six months after undergoing a hybrid microfracture surgery on his right knee, a league source told ESPN.com.
Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said before the game that if Parsons played at all, it would only limited to the first half.
"This is the beginning of a process and so we'll go from here," Carlisle said.
Parson's recovery would have been significantly longer if he had undergone the full microfracture operation.
