MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia's Federal Security Service has obtained data on tax law violations at some firms after searching the Moscow office of Onexim Group, which manages assets of tycoon Mikhail Prokhorov, the service said in a statement on Friday.
Russian law enforcement officials, some wearing ski masks, on Thursday searched the offices of Prokhorov, a tycoon whose newspaper has published revelations about people with ties to President Vladimir Putin.
The Federal Security Service did not name the firms and did not say whether they were part of Onexim.
The searches were conducted together with the tax service as part of a criminal investigation related to Tavrichesky Bank in St.
