What can we learn from the return of an inefficient former first-round pick to the Sixers?
This past Halloween, Rodney Carney made history, and in a way he could have never seen coming. He was drafted in the first round two times - the first time in the ‘06-‘07 NBA draft and the second in the “15-‘16 D-League draft - and traded both times to Philadelphia (the 76ers and 87ners respectively). Ironically, he was taken with the 13th pick in the D-League draft by the OKC Blue, when, a decade prior, he was traded for the Sixers’ 13th pick in the 2006 draft, former Thunder stalwart Thabo Sefolosha.
