Houston Rockets guard James Harden did not practice and is "very doubtful" for Friday's game after injuring his left hamstring, coach Mike D'Antoni said Thursday.
Harden, the reigning MVP, did not finish the Rockets' 100-89 loss to the Utah Jazz on Wednesday after feeling tightness in his hamstring. He exited with 5:19 remaining in the game.
He missed seven games with a hamstring injury last season.
"It's nothing serious, nothing serious," Harden said after Wednesday's loss. "It's nothing close to last year. Just being cautious."
The Rockets play the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday, when suspended guard Chris Paul will return to the lineup.
