The Washington Wizards are in advanced talks on a deal to acquire Phoenix Suns forward Trevor Ariza in a multi-team trade, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
Wojnarowski added that the Suns (5–24) want a "playmaking guard and a draft asset" in exchange for Ariza. The three-team deal would reportedly send Ariza to the Wizards, Washington's Kelly Oubre to the Memphis Grizzlies and Austin Rivers, Wayne Selden and MarShon Brooks to the Suns, per Wojnarowski and Arizona Sports 98.7's John Gambadoro.
Second-round draft compensation is also expected to be included.
The Suns had reportedly engaged in talks with the Lakers for Ariza earlier in the week.
