The Atlanta Hawks are planning to name coach Mike Budenholzer team president, a move that would result in the exit of general manager Danny Ferry, Yahoo! Sports reported Thursday.

Ferry has been on an indefinite leave of absence since September after making racially charged comments about Luol Deng.
