Early in the season, we marveled at the pace revolution. The Golden State Warriors taught us that you can play great defense (and win a championship) while playing at a fast pace, and most of the league decided to mimic the champs as best they can.
Even now, with the season 80 percent complete, 28 of the 30 teams (Dallas and Denver are the only exceptions) have played at a faster pace than they did last season. And pace has picked up even more since the All-Star break, with 24 of the 30 teams playing faster before the break.
