Pels' Zion Williamson among three starters out vs. Mavericks

NEW ORLEANS - The Pelicans will be without three starters on Tuesday night as the team downgraded the status of Zion Williamson and Herbert Jones to out late on Tuesday morning.

Williamson (right posterior hip/lower back contusion) and Jones (right knee hyperextension) were both originally listed as questionable for the game against the Dallas Mavericks before being downgraded shortly after shootaround finished.

The Pelicans had already ruled out forward Brandon Ingram who was placed into concussion protocol on Monday afternoon after colliding with teammate Naji Marshall in the Pelicans' game on Sunday against the Utah Jazz.
