After a rough first three-quarters of the season, second round draft pick Norman Powell has found his role on the Raptors through versatily.
Norman Powell was drafted 46th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2015 NBA Draft. That same night, he was traded to the Toronto Raptors in a deal that would send Greivis Vasquez to the Bucks. From Dec. 19, 2015 to Mar. 4, 2016, he was assigned and then recalled from the Raptors’ D-League affiliate seven times. Then, seemingly at a moment’s notice, he’s in the Raptors’ starting lineup and posting a team-high 17 points against the San Antonio Spurs.
