NBA-National Basketball Association roundup

Oct 30 (The Sports Xchange) - The Philadelphia 76ers exercised the fourth-year contract options on center Joel Embiid and guard Nik Stauskas on Sunday, as well as the third-year option on forward Jahlil Okafor.

The Sixers selected the 7-foot, 250-pound Embiid with the third overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. He missed the first two seasons recovering from two foot surgeries. Embiid, 22, has averaged 17 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in two games this season.

Stauskas, selected eighth overall by the Sacramento Kings in the 2014 draft, was acquired by the Sixers as part of a trade on July 10, 2015.
