Jan 3 (The Sports Xchange) - Brooklyn Nets point guard Jarrett Jack will miss the rest of the season after an MRI revealed he had a torn ACL and a partially torn MCL in his right knee, the team announced Sunday.
Jack suffered the injury during Saturday's victory over the Boston Celtics. At first, the Nets believed it was only a sprained knee, but the MRI revealed a more serious injury. Jack will require surgery to repair the knee.
The 32-year-old Jack averaged 12.8 points, a team-high 7.4 assists and 4.3 rebounds this season in 32 games, all as a starter.
