Los Angeles Lakers' star LeBron James returns to starting lineup vs. New York Knicks after 5-game absence

LeBron James, who had missed the Los Angeles Lakers' past five games with swelling in his left knee, returned to the starting lineup against the New York Knicks on Saturday night, playing 40 minutes and notching a triple-double in the 122-115 overtime win.

James had 29 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists in the game.

Prior to the game, coach Frank Vogel said James would be a gametime decision. He was officially listed as questionable in the lead-up to the game.

In his absence, the Lakers went 1-4 with their only win coming against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday.
