Los Angeles jury rejects lawsuit accusing NBA star Derrick Rose of rape

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A federal court jury in Los Angeles returned a verdict on Wednesday rejecting accusations in a civil lawsuit that National Basketball Association star Derrick Rose and two friends raped his former girlfriend in 2013, City News Service reported.

The U.S. District Court jurors deliberated for less than four hours before reaching their verdict clearing Rose, a guard for the New York Knicks, and his two friends, Ryan Allen and Randy Hampton, in a suit seeking $21.5 million in damages, CNS said.
