Looney available to play for Warriors in Game 4

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Friday that forward Kevon Looney is available and is going to try to play in Game 4 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors.

"We're going to try to give him a go," Kerr said.

Looney suffered a non-displaced first costal cartilage fracture in Game 2 in Toronto when he absorbed contact from Raptors star Kawhi Leonard on a drive. He was originally expected to be out for the series.

"He's had such a great season, such a great postseason run," Kerr said in announcing the injury. "It's a big loss for us.
