LOS ANGELES -- Lakers star LeBron James returned for Saturday's 146-115 loss to the Chicago Bulls after a two-week absence because of a strained left groin.
James suffered the injury midway through the fourth quarter of L.A.'s 111-101 road loss to the Boston Celtics on March 8. The Lakers went 3-4 in their next seven games without him.
The 22-year veteran is averaging 25.0 points on 51.7% shooting (38.4% from 3), 8.5 assists and 8.2 rebounds in 58 games this season. He finished with 17 points in just over 31 minutes on Saturday.
