OAKLAND, Calif. -- Warriors forward Kevin Durant returns to action Wednesday against the LA Clippers needing just 25 points to reach 20,000 for his career.
He will become the second-youngest player in NBA history, behind LeBron James, to reach that milestone, and one of just five to have scored that many before turning 30; the others are James, Kobe Bryant, Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan in that order.
In an interview with ESPN in advance of the contest, Durant said it is a humbling experience, but admitted it is difficult to wrap his head around being included with the other greats who have accomplished the feat.
