BOSTON -- Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert suffered a left knee injury in the opening minutes of Friday's game against the Boston Celtics and will not return.

Gobert went to the floor awkwardly after appearing to get rolled into by teammate Derrick Favors. As he tried to get back to his feet, Gobert fell back to the floor and rolled to his back before clutching his left knee.

Trainers briefly attended to Gobert's left leg on the court before teammates picked him up and attempted to carry him to the bench.
