Last November tens of millions of Americans voted for Donald Trump precisely because he wasn’t a normal politician.
In a sense they were right. The early days of Trump’s presidency have been anything but normal.
On day two, millions of women (and sympathetic men) marched worldwide to protest his inauguration. On day 21, a federal appeals court accused Trump of executive overreach and refused to reinstate his Muslim-centric travel ban. On day 23, Trump tweeted about Nordstrom. On day 26, Trump’s national security adviser, Michael Flynn, resigned in disgrace. (National security advisers have historically lasted an average of 949 days on the job.
