We are now in year six of the Chris Paul/Blake Griffin/Deandre Jordan era of the Los Angeles Clippers. The team has surpassed 50 wins every year since Paul’s arrival in 2011, minus the lockout-shortened season. Despite the regularity and familiarity of their regular season success, their underwhelming performances in the playoffs are just as familiar at this point. The 2014 Western Conference Semifinals were vividly egregious, in which they lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road in a tied series despite being up 7 in the last minute.
Paul in particular was responsible for multiple uncharacteristic errors.
