MILWAUKEE -- Giannis Antetokounmpo returned following a one-game absence due to swelling in his left knee and dropped a 40-point triple-double in Saturday's 124-114 win over the Washington Wizards.

Antetokounmpo finished with 42 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists.

He had sat out the Bucks' 106-103 NBA Cup victory at Miami on Tuesday.

The two-time MVP was listed as probable before the game with tendinopathy in his right patellar tendon.
