The fantasy of these four best friends playing together isn’t unrealistic.
In this age of the NBA, one common theme for winning a championship is forming a “Big Three.” Normally, a Big Three consists of three elite players, surrounded by a quality supporting cast.
The Miami Heat had LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh. The Boston Celtics had Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and Kevin Garnett. The Spurs had Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, and Tim Duncan. The Golden State Warriors developed their own Big Three in Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.
