(Reuters) - Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin will miss a few more weeks of action after injuring his hand in an altercation with one of the team's equipment managers, according to multiple reports on Tuesday.
The five-time NBA All-Star, who has missed the past month with a torn left quadriceps tendon, suffered the latest injury while hitting an equipment staffer outside a Toronto restaurant over the weekend, according to the Orange County Register.
When contacted by Reuters on Tuesday, the Clippers said that a statement would be issued sometime before head coach Doc Rivers addresses the media ahead of Tuesday's game against the host Indiana Pacers.
