Cleveland’s 52 Year Drought is finally over as LeBron and the Cavaliers have won the NBA Championship.
Let’s go back to May 13, 2010: Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Boston Celtics, led by Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen were leading the series against LeBron James, a worn down Shaquille O’Neal and the rest of the Cleveland Cavaliers, 3-2. The Celtics defeated the Cavs in Game 5 at home by 32 points, and LeBron was sent off to Boston smothered in boos after a poor performance. In Game 6, LeBron fought as hard as he could and put up a triple-double, 27 points, 19 rebounds and 10 assists.
