CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Kyrie Irving will miss the Cleveland Cavaliers' game Saturday against the Charlotte Hornets with a right hamstring injury.
Irving was pulled from the team's victory Thursday against the Boston Celtics after banging legs with LeBron James. Little-used backup Jordan McRae will start in Irving's place alongside DeAndre Liggins, who is starting in place of the injured J.R. Smith. Irving is day-to-day.
"When him and 'Bron collided, he got kneed in his knee and it caused some tightness in his hamstring," Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said.
