New York (AFP) - Milwaukee Bucks coach Jason Kidd was suspended one game without pay on Thursday by the NBA for confronting a referee and slapping the ball out of his hands.

The league imposed the ban for Kidd "aggressively pursuing and confronting a game official, slapping the ball out of his hands, and not leaving the court in a timely manner upon his ejection", in Milwaukee's 129-118 home loss to Sacramento on Wednesday.
