BELGRADE, Nov 19 (Reuters) - A stirring second-half comeback gave Strasbourg a 78-75 home win over Red Star Belgrade while six-times Euroleague champions CSKA Moscow also rallied to beat Maccabi Tel Aviv 88-82 away on Thursday.
Fans in Strasbourg's Rhenus Sport Arena sang the Marseillaise in an emotional atmosphere after the home side, playing the first Euroleague game in France since the Paris attacks, fought back from a 20-point deficit to stay in contention for a Top 16 berth.
Trailing 52-32 late in the first half, Strasbourg turned the match on its head with ironclad defence, limiting Red Star to just 21 points in the second period.
