The Golden State Warriors will continue to be without forward Andre Iguodala during Game 1 of the NBA Finals, the team announced Wednesday.
The Warriors said Iguodala, who missed the last four games of the Western Conference finals after suffering a left lateral leg contusion against the Houston Rockets, continues to make progress and will be re-evaluated prior to Game 2.
The best-of-seven series against the Cleveland Cavaliers begins Thursday night (8 p.m. ET, ABC).
The Warriors said the 6-foot-7 swingman was evaluated by the team's medical staff Wednesday, and he continues to have pain and inflammation with the nerve surrounding his left knee.
