Next summer is shaking up to be a massive one for the NBA. It seems as if Kevin Durant is truly a flight risk to leave Golden State, and if he were to leave, the league could be left with a slew of contenders who have a real chance at winning the Finals. Some weird stuff is going to go down in 2019, especially with a bunch of teams owning cap space and only so few stars to go around. The Association could use a reshuffling, particularly with this era of Warriors exceptionalism putting a little bit of a chill over most teams’ playoff hopes.
