The NBA trade deadline stirs up a lot of trade rumors, but this year could be one where we see many of those rumors come true. Jrue Holiday of the New Orleans Pelicans has been rumored to be in NBA trade rumors this season as the Pelicans are off to a slow start. The Pelicans have reportedly made JJ Redick, Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson unavailable in trade talks, but according to Marc Stein, the team is willing to listen to trade offers for Jrue Holiday. Holiday has been a solid veteran for the Pelicans and is one of the most defensive versatile guards in the NBA, but that could lead to a large trade package for the Pelicans in return.

Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers is reportedly on the trading block, as the Pacers do not view him as a long-term fit next to Domantas Sabonis. Myles Turner has become one of the best rim protectors in the NBA, but he has not been living up to his four-year, $80 million contract. The Pacers could get a nice return package in a trade centered around Myles Turner considering he is still a young player, is a great shot blocker and can stretch the floor most of the time. The last player that could be traded before the NBA trade deadline is Julius Randle of the New York Knicks. The Knicks signed an abundance of power forwards during NBA free agency, and now they may be looking to move on from their biggest signing in Julius Randle. Randle is putting up impressive numbers, but he has not been a consistent, positive force for the Knicks. Julius Randle is young and can still contribute to a young team. Teams like the Charlotte Hornets and Minnesota Timberwolves could look to make a move for Julius Randle before the NBA trade deadline rolls around.
