NBA free agency is here, and there have already been several moves in the first few days. With the cap rising, players are landing lucrative deals, especially compared to previous seasons. Many big names have already signed, although there are still several quality players left on the market. The rumor mill is buzzing with potential deals, and we're here to get you caught up on what's happened thus far. Here are the latest NBA rumors and news you need to know.
Updates On Dwyane Wade
Wade and the Miami Heat aren't seeing eye-to-eye on their contract talks. He wants a two-year, $50 million deal, which the Heat can't do without trading Josh McRoberts. He's currently talking with the Nuggets and Bulls, with the Cavs as an option if Wade is willing to take a massive pay cut and play under the $2.9 MLE. Meanwhile, there's a chance Wade could have his own version of "The Decision" later this week.
Weird as it is, Dwyane Wade's decision could be announced on Live With Kelly Ripa. https://t.co/zaxnGflYT3

Wade will host the show with Ripa Thursday, so he could announce his decision then. If the Heat trade McRoberts, that's a clear sign they'll keep Wade. If Wade can't get past the Heat prioritizing Kevin Durant and Hassan Whiteside, there'd be no better way for him to stick it to the Heat than joining the Cavs.
Warriors After Ray Allen?
The Warriors are filling out the rest of their roster with ring chasers signing for the veteran minimum and there's another veteran that could sign.
The Warriors have pushed for a Ray Allen comeback since 2014. Ray has stayed in shape. His vet minimum would be $1,551,659. GS likely calls.

Allen is 40, but he's still one of the best shooters ever. It's not like the Warriors need more shooting, but it never hurts.
Teams Have Called LeBron James
James has already said he'll return to the Cavs, but that hasn't stopped NBA teams from trying to lure him away.
Teams are still calling to check on the unsigned LeBron James, but I'm told agent Rich Paul politely informs them James is staying a Cav

Once again, we have confirmation that James isn't leaving.
Timberwolves Interested In Brandon Rush?
Rush won't be returning to the Warriors unless he takes the veteran minimum. As a result, he's looking at other teams.
#Twolves inquired today about FA Brandon Rush, I'm told. There was no holiday break for GM Scott Layden. Reminder: never inquired on Curry.

Minnesota needs 3-point shooting help and that's something Rush can provide. However, he does have some issues on defense.
