The start of NBA training camps are just over a month away and excitement for the new season is building following the release of the schedule on Monday night. Kyrie Irving's future continues to be at the forefront of headlines, but there are also updates on Dwyane Wade and more. Here are all the latest NBA rumors you need to know:
Josh Smith Returning To Rockets?
Josh Smith might be ready to join the Houston Rockets for a third time. After playing overseas for a portion of last year, Smith has worked out with some Rockets players and might sign a new contract.
Just spoke with Josh Smith, formerly with the #Rockets. Very interested in a return to the team and a deal could be in the works soon.

Houston has had Smith three times, joining in the middle of seasons. After the Pistons bought him out, Smith played very well for the Rockets in the 2014-15 season. He signed with the Clippers that offseason, before the Clippers dealt him mid-year to Houston. The second go-around wasn't as successful and Smith didn't play in the NBA next year. He's averaged 14.6 points per game in his career, but had just six per game in his last NBA season.

Heat Players Open To Wade Return
If Dwyane Wade is bought out by the Chicago Bulls, one of the top landing spots would be a return to the Miami Heat. At least some Miami Heat players are on board with a reunion.
"It'd be great," center Hassan Whiteside told the Orlando Sun-Sentinel. "It's a three-time NBA champion coming back, coming in and really helping a team out. It would be great ... He's a great basketball-IQ guy. He can find you on a lob. He can find you on a pick-and-roll situation. He's a great scorer."
Veteran guard Wayne Ellington is also in favor of getting Wade back.
"Obviously this is something that D-Wade helped build," the 3-point specialist said, "so obviously this city and us as a team being able to have somebody like that on our team would be amazing."
Wade is due $23.8 million this year, but the Bulls are in a rebuilding stage.
