NBA Rumors are buzzing around DeMarcus Cousins as there are conflicting reports about whether or not he will sign with a team and play out the remainder of the season. Shams Charania reports that Cousins will not sign, but rather opt to continue ACL rehab and get ready for next season. The LA Times reports that Cousins’ agent Jeff Schwartz says that Cousins is weighing his options and has not made a final decision.

Trevor Ariza and Davis Bertans are two notable players that will not play in Orlando. Ariza is stuck in a custody battle over his 12 year-old son and has a visitation period during the NBA’s return. He is opting not to play. Bertans is set to become one of the top NBA Free Agents this off-season and is choosing not to risk injury with the Wizards 5.5 games back of the #8 seed in the Eastern Conference.
The New York Knicks coaching search is ongoing and they are interested in several candidates. The Knicks list is reportedly double digits, but Tom Thibodeau remains the favorite to land the job. New York has requested permission to interview Lakers’ assistant Jason Kidd and Warriors’ assistant Mike Brown. Who will the Knicks ultimately hire as their next head coach?
